Inhale, Exhale

Day 64: One thing I learned today…



I was recently introduced to a Guided Mediation based on Anapanasati Sutta, the mindfulness of breathing.


I started my day off with it and I plan to use this throughout my time unplugged over the next 24 hours or so. I want to be present and notice the small things.


The beginning starts like this:


Breathing in, I know I am breathing in.

Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.

Breathing in, I notice the breath long or short.

Breathing out, I notice the breath long or short.

Breathing in, I notice my whole body.

Breathing out, I notice my whole body.

Breathing in, I calm my whole body.

Breathing out, I calm my whole body.


Take a moment to take a breath and just notice. You can even use this while doing other things such as Breathing in, I am pouring my coffee, Breathing out I am taking a sip.


Be present and notice the small things.
