For the love of yourself

Day 122: One thing I learned today…

Self‐compassion describes a positive and caring attitude of a person toward her‐ or himself in the face of failures and individual shortcomings.

A large body of research links self compassion to different facets of well-being which include life satisfaction, emotional well being, Psychological wellbeing, happiness, and optimism.

Researchers found that individuals who scored higher on a measure of self compassion were also more positive & kinder to themselves when asked to recall a past failure as well as when given negative social feedback.

Are you the type of person to be kind to yourself? Man, I am working on this but little by little I am making progress.
