Day 288: One thing I learned today…
Eating colorful foods can help lower cognitive decline. A study looked at 49,493 women and 27,842 men over a 20 year time spend. Individuals who ate half a serving per day - yes just half a serving of foods high in flavonoids, had a 20% less risk of cognitive decline. Flavonoids are compounds found naturally in many fruits and vegetables.
